                       Can you imagine life without a newspaper ? Some might feel that with the other forms of media , the newspaper can be dispensed with . But in reality, it is the newspaper that is more important than T.V. or radio . The newspaper is the widest selling commodity and also the cheapest , it is available in all languages and today there are numerous publications and all are very successful . 

                   Newspaper give us the latest news about events happening not only in our country but all over the world.Today the newspaper is in colour with makes it very attractive and therefore increases its sells.Young and old look forward to the newspaper and everyone has something special to look for while some enjoy. The sports page , others prefer news items and some others look for advertisements and classifieds .The newspapers are  very informative  and regular reading helps an individual to be more aware of events,whether they are terrorist acts ,crimes or introduction of new films,Oscar awards or international news.Reading a newspaper regularly helps improve language skills as well.

                      Newspapers are available all over the world and very often there is more than one edition in the day bringing us up-to- date information about the latest news.Even where television is not available the newspaper is.People read it avidly to keep abreast with the happenings in all parts of the country.
