THE TV
TV has become a popular, useful and a very powerful means of spreading education. It has become a main source of entertainment. We can sit at home at ease, switch on our TV set and watch a wide variety of interesting programmes.
Television brings us the news of events taking place in far-off places. All corners of the world are within our reach. The TV is entertaining as well as educative.
We can see dramas, movies, musical programmes, dances, quiz programmes, sports and many other programmes. Important cultural programmes, sports events, functions and news items are telecast live on TV. Special programmes for children, women and people in rural areas are also telecast. We also enjoy many interesting advertisements on TV. They help us to buy right things of our choice.
It is fun to watch the TV programmes but remember we should watch only good and educative programmes. We should not sit glued to our seats for hours together to watch TV.
Watching too much TV is harmful to your eyes and health, too.
